Help elect Democrats in 2025!

We need to stand up to MAGA extremists by electing Democrats in 2025 and getting voters ready for 2026! We can do both by writing to voters in key areas to encourage them to vote in local or state elections in 2025. We are especially writing to Democratic and Democratic-leaning independent voters who don’t usually vote in mid-term or special elections to make sure they know about upcoming elections and the importance of voting in them. Anyone we convince to vote this year is much more likely to vote again in 2026! And it’s never been more important to elect Democrats to resist the MAGA regime.

New Jersey: Elect Democrat Mikie Sherrill for Governor this November!

Let’s help elect Democrat Mikie Sherrill for Governor of NJ, starting with asking voters to sign up to Vote By Mail. Deadline: These postcards should be mailed as you complete them and by September 15 at the latest. (In September and October we will write Get Out The Vote postcards for this campaign.)

Pennsylvania: Retain Supreme Court Justices in 2025 who will uphold the law

This November voters in PA can vote to retain three Supreme Court justices who will protect democracy and reproductive freedom. If these justices lose the vote in November, the Republican-led state Senate of PA will get to choose their replacements until the next election - with potentially devastating impact on the 2026 elections. We are starting with asking voters to sign up to Vote By Mail. Deadline: These postcards should be mailed as you complete them and by September 15 at the latest. California:

• We have a limited number of addresses for a post big bad budget bill accountability campaign for CA 22, pointing out that Congressman Valadao lied about refusing to increased cuts to Medi-Cal.

• We have finished our immigration campaigns for Republican Congressman David Valadao in CA 22, Congresswoman Young Kim in CA 40 and Congressman Ken Calvert in CA 41; thank you so much! We will have new campaigns for CA soon.

Iowa: Immigration and Democracy (mail by August 28)

• Republican Congressman Nunn in IA 03

Nebraska: Immigration and Democracy (mail by August 28)

• Republican Congressman Bacon in NE 02

US Senate: Ohio (mail as you complete and by August 31)

We are writing to Democratic voters in rural areas and key Congressional Districts in Ohio to let them know that their Republican Senator Jon Husted voted for the MAGA Republican budget bill that will take away health care and raise prices for Ohioan families. Senator Husted was appointed to take Vice President Vance’s seat and is up for election in 2026. Mail these postcards as you complete them and by August 31 at the latest.
